MIXER PREAMPLIFIER WITH 6 MICROPHONES & 2 AUX INPUT : This help & meet requirement of an independent Mixer as it connects many number of microphones and Cassette Players.

HIGH INPUT OVER DRIVE : It allows Microphone  & Aux. channels to handle signals from very low to high without any extra distortion or chocking of sound.

PRE-AMP OUTPUT : Used for for connecting cassette recorder for Recording the proceedings or function.

LINE OUTPUT : Used For connecting Booster Amplifier to add more power.

BASS & TREBLE CONTROL : BASS & TREBLE  controls are Cut & Boost type. These permits shaping desired tonal & sound quality of the programmed or function.

LED OUTPUT LEVEL INDICATOR : This monitors or show the output level of sound being delivered by the Amplifier.

OVERLOAD & SHORT CIRCUIT SAFETY :  This save the Amplifier from damage against  overload & short circuit.

MASTER VOLUME  CONTROL : It control the overall volume of mixed microphone & players.

On-Off Lo-Cut Switches : MIC-1, MIC-2, MIC-3 & MIC-4 are provided with OFF-ON-LO-CUT (Speech Fitter) Facility. This permits switching of any MIC without disturbing its volume setting. In the Lo-Cut position which acts as Speech Filter, eliminating feedback and howling. MIC-5, MIC-6 & MIC-7 are alternate to AUX-1, AUX-2 & AUX-3 through a selector switch. Dual intensity & Bi-color LED provided to indicate the operating status.

Output Connections : Two independent output of 200mV/600ohms and 1Volt/1Kohms provided both on terminal strip and RCA jacks to feed to any amplifier, cassette Recorder etc.

220-240 AC / 12 DC Operation : For AC Mains Operations connect required Inputs and output and plug the AC cord to the nearest 5A Mains socket. Move the power switch to AC ON position, The pilot LED shall glow set all volume control at "O" position and respective MIC ON - LO - CUT - FLAT switches and MIC-OFF/AUX corresponding to various channels at desired position. For DC (Car Battery) Operation connect 12V car battery terminal to Dc battery terminal (14) thought battery cord. Ensure that +of battery is connected to +to MX-10 and-of battery to-of MX-10 terminal. For dry Battery Operation open the bottom cover of cell compartment (18) and insert 9 Nos. UM-1 (standard size) dry cells as shown below.

Setting Of Bass And Treble Controls : Bass controls the tonal quality of the low frequencies produced by musical instrument like Drum etc. and to some extent male human voice. When this control is rotated clockwise (above "O" position) it will increase the intensity (boost) of the low frequencies. When it is lowered (below "O" position), it reduces the intensity (cut) of low frequencies.

Treble : This controls the tone quality of instrument like Violin Sarangi and Sitar etc. and to some extent female human voice. When the control is advance upwards towards BOOST position, it will boost  i.e. increase the intensity of high frequencies, Similarly, when lowered. towards CUT position, it will cut i.e. reduce the intensity of high frequencies.

Connecting Record Player : For connecting a record player or any other programmed source. Line Output, For connecting with a higher wattage amplifier for obtaining more power output. Earth Terminal, Output Terminal Strip, For connecting speakers or driver units. AC Cable AC Fuse Holder, ABS legs for supporting the unit on its back while handing. Shorting link (COM to Earth terminal). 

For Quasi Balanced Operation - Pins 1 &3 connects to the screen of the cable,  Pin 2 connects to signal conductor. The pin numbers are identified on the XLR plug and easy way to remember how they should be wired is - X= Earth (Pin1), L-Live (Pin2), R=Return(Pin3)

6.3mm(1/4") Phone Plug : There are two versions of this connector in common use, Mono & stereo.

The stereo plug for Balanced operation - Tip - Signal +, Ring- Signal -, Sleeve - Screen

The Mono plug is also used for Quasi-Balanced operation - Tip - Signal +, Sleeve -Signal  - Screen

Speak on plug : This is used in some models of Etra speaker system for connecting to an amplifier.
